Nah, it won't. It's based on a reddit thread. :P And it's a bit limited since it's about specific shows (it helps to have seen all of them, probably should've seen at least two): Parks and Recreation, the US version of The Office, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I'm sticking to them because they were all more or less created and/or written by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.

Public, so anyone can feel free to jump in. :)

Okay, this entry is cursed. Every single time I try and post anything, my internet cuts out, and it keeps not saving.

So, keeping it REALLY simple this time. This is a survey now, and because a million questions could be asked, I'll keep it to a few. Feel free to add your own thoughts! I've also made this public so others can jump in.

Some of you already commented on my post that mentioned Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, but I figured I'd make a poll. I've also made this entry public so anyone can join in.

You don't have to be remotely interested in genealogy or family history to take this poll. In fact, if you're not, I'd love to hear from you. Before I throw it at you, let me explain the purpose; I'm trying to explore why some people are more interested in genealogy/family history/heritage than others, particularly when it comes to certain areas and age groups.

You can also stick to the comments (especially if you've clicked "other" at least once) or do both. There will probably be a corresponding LJ post about this. If anything's personal, feel free to PM me instead OR answer anonymously.

So I wanted to do a poll on what former/current Harry Potter fans think of JK Rowling's new book, The Casual Vacancy, coming out soon. I've heard mixed reactions but would like more of a consensus. I'd also be interested to hear from people who weren't into the Harry Potter books. Obviously I don't personally care what your answers are - just curious. :)[Poll #1865597]

Saw Mad Men was up for an Emmy ,which surprises me given how many fans seem to have disliked this season.[Poll #1854804]

This is in response to another poll a friend did regarding characters that were messed up because of bad writing. So here's my question - can writers (of shows, books or movies) mess up characters?[Poll #1673373]

I've been wondering when one should mention a breach of netiquette on the web.  I have a tendency to be blunt, and tell people not to use "u" if they do, or that all caps is screaming. But it's occurred to me that perhaps that, too, is a breach of netiquette.[Poll #1297928][Poll #1297928]

Apologies if this took up anyone's flists, but I don't have time to edit.

If anyone who knows how wants to hack my LJ and fix the cuts for me, feel free. (Some of you know the password, right?) In fact, I'd love you.
