Nah, it won't. It's based on a reddit thread. :P And it's a bit limited since it's about specific shows (it helps to have seen all of them, probably should've seen at least two): Parks and Recreation, the US version of The Office, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I'm sticking to them because they were all more or less created and/or written by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.

Public, so anyone can feel free to jump in. :)

Also, I didn't include this because there are so many options, so this one can be answered in the comments: What would you like to see them (or anyone, for that matter) do a workplace sitcom about next?

IMO Gina and Rosa are based on splitting April's personality/affect in half and creating two new characters.

I would love to see a show like this about people who work at a living history museum, which is what some article online said P&R would be before the first season came out. I would probably get annoyed if they did it wrong, though, so maybe it's for the best that said show doesn't exist.

Actually, I think you've hit it right on the nose. I see Rosa as being more April than Gina, but I think you're right that it's more them being a combination. That's the thing with the characters, you can see ones from past shows in them, but they're all their own as well. I mean, Jake is sort of a combination of Andy and Leslie - not terribly bright, totally has a roleplay character similar to Bert Macklin, but is also at times too dedicated to his job and holds himself to high standards. So there you go.

I've been meaning to watch Parks & Recreation at some point! ...some time.

Possibly unpopular opinion! I tried The Office and just never felt that connection to the characters. (I did watch the seven episodes guest-starring Idris Elba. Worth it.)

B99 and P&R both fit into the category of "sitcoms that don't make me hate humanity". As opposed to, say, The Big Bang Theory or TWo and a Half Men.
