Old Wives' Fail?

When you're in your thirties and still think you have to wait half an hour to swim or you might die of a stomach cramp.

Because clearly what made sense to you at three (when your mom just wanted to finish napping) should make sense now...

But what if Old Wives' Tales were true???





She swallowed this gum in August 2009 on her way to a Taylor Swift concert. It finally left town yesterday after years of unexplainable constipation.



Opened the window while his hair was still wet and briefly stuck his head outside. Fool!



Nine lives later, Mittens still hasn't found a brand of pet food she likes.



She hasn't liked Doctor Who since Tennant's run. That was also when she started eating apples daily.

I definitely think the first one is a wives' tail. I've swam through cramps I got in my side (probably from overdoing it technically) and I've gone swimming without issue after eating.

interesting tidbit for you: in Italy all children are brought up thinking you can't go in the sea for 2 hours after you've had lunch. three, if your parents are particularly strict.
