Enjoy.
As soon as the NEWTS are taken and bags are packed, Flitwick does something for his seventh years.
It isn't anything big. They'll get that at the end, when they take the boats the other way across the lakes. But it's special.
They go into Rowena's Room. It's a small eating area with silverware made of pure silver - and gifts.
To his writers, he gives caramel-colored sugar quills that evade writer's block.
To his philosophers, he gives lockets without keys. They can figure the rest out for themselves.
To his bookworms, he gives them each a book that can produce alternative endings when thrown against the wall.
To his potions experts, he gives cauldrons that cannot spill. (He reserves one for Neville Longbottom, the poor young man.)
To his romantics, he gives them Shakespeare's Romances. (Muggle artistic geniuses are too often ignored.)
To all, he gives a small portrait of Rowena Ravenclaw, so they will never forget where they came from.

Alternate endings when thrown against the wall I NEED BOOKS WITH THAT FEATURE
