I've been getting quite a few random IM requests lately, and while some of them have been genuine, most, I think, are either people who keep adding/IMing me and then walking away or spammers/creepy people. So with that in mind... introduce yourself before IMing, or I'll pretty much assume you're a spammer. You can also send me a PM.

Don't get me wrong, everyone is more than welcome to IM me - I wouldn't list my instant message names if I didn't want to be contacted. (Why do people list IM names on messageboards and LJ and then act all irritated when you message them?) It's happened several times now. But I won't add people back until I know who I've been added by.

Yeah... and I mean, I don't want to deny someone who might be one of you or another friend, but I also don't want to be spammed or added by some weirdo, and let me tell you,there's a lot of those on yahoo.
