Anyhow, that's not what the post is about. However, it is a new year - time for new beginnings. Which is why I'm creating something I've coined "Fixfest." I actually came up with the idea several years ago, but it never happened. I think it's time for it to happen.
The premise of Fixfest is this: Take one fanfic you wrote, and fix it up as much as possible. It can be a one shot or a chapter fic. It also doesn't have to be one fic - it can be many. You can do the same thing with an original story. If you'd like me to point out the fic, just send it to me in the comments, a PM, or email if you have my address. The deadline for linking is April 1, 2012. (Because why not?)
I respect everyone's right to write and ship whatever they wish. That being said, I reserve the right not to link to bestiality, sex with minors, and non-con. If this is a problem, I apologize.
It's advisable that when you do post the fic, you link to the original, but if you think that'd be too much blackmail material, or if you don't have it on a website, perhaps post an excerpt or a summary.
ETA: This also applies to old, unfinished WIPs. As long as you actually finish them. :P
