Reason for your LJ username: I like reading Vogue, so I just put a very in front of that. Fascinating, huh?
Do you enjoy reading my LJ: Of course
Why or why not?: You have some interesting fandom opinions!
Interesting fact about you: I am obessed with Hello Kitty (not altogether that interesting, but still a fact)
Weird fact about you: I hate bubble gum. The smell, the taste, the texture - BLECH.

Hmm... tough one. Maybe Miami, just because it's in Florida, and I like Florida. ^^

It's not even close to midnight yet here, despite me being distracted for half an hour or so before I could finish responding to your questions.

Reason for your LJ username: hexnut (which I've been using elsewhere, e.g. the Sugar Quill) was taken, so I spelled it backwards. It refers to the hexes in HP and to the six students who went to the department of mysteries.

Do you enjoy reading my LJ: Yes, or you wouldn't be on my friends list.

Why or why not?: Because, often enough, you write interesting stuff about Harry Potter.

Interesting fact about you: I'm ambidextrous.

Weird fact about you: I'm not really an inanimate object.

Quote: the only one that comes to mind right now (despite having browsed through the ODQ earlier this evening) is "Wherever you go, there you are." Ask me another time and you'll likely get a different answer.

Will you post this in your LJ: Nopers. Not enough Harry.

Ask me a question: If you could go back and change any one thing you've done in the last five years, what would it be?

Recommend me:

1. A movie: Howl's Moving Castle. Coming out in US in one month.

2. A book: Anything by Patricia McKillip. Her recent books are intricate little fantasies, fairy tales that have been twisted and polished so much as to be almost unrecognizable. I also like her Riddlemaster books (her first, I think) which read more like a conventional fantasy trilogy but with much more depth and symbolism than usual.

3. A musical artist, song, or album: Cat Power

I'd make myself less cynical in HS. I never had many friends, but I'm not sure I always exactly gave any indication I *wanted* them. (Granted, for a majority of the time, I didn't because most of the kids at my HS were snotty and judgemental).

Reason for LJ username: Well, it's my name on the Quill, and that's where I figured most of my flist would be coming from, and it's my name on the quill because I'm a strange person who names themselves after a dead parrot.

Do I enjoy reading your LJ: Yes, I usually forget to look at things like Mugglenet or TLC, so reading your lj usually keeps me up to date with new things in the fandom. You know, the stuff that doesn't show up at the quill. Plus you're interesting.

Interesting Fact about you: Hmm...I'm not that interesting. Okay, last November I went to Rome for a few days, and during this trip I saw the pope perform a ceremony and I watched the American election on the BBC in an American/Canadian/British Bar while attempting to talk with a guy from Egypt who didn't know any English and I didn't know any Egyptian or French, which were the two languages he spoke.

Weird Fact: When I get especially stressed out (i.e. during finals) I get something like narcolepsy where I get almost irresistable urges to sleep, even while in exams. Sometimes it is irresistable, but this usually only happens at home, though it happened once when I was studying with my friend over at her house.

Will I post this: I dunno, maybe.

Movie: Eulogy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0349416/). It's a very funny movie that my friend and I found when we were picking up random things in the rental place. Neither of us had heard of it before, but it surprised us by being hysterical, yet really sad at some points. If that summary isn't your thing, one of my favorite old movies is Arsenic and Old Lace, with Cary Grant. It's very funny.

Book: Monkeewrench, by P.J. Tracy. Very cool whodunnit mystery.

Music: If you're going for musical value, I'd say try Shakira's MTV unplugged Album. It's all in Spanish, but it was some really cool stuff musically and vocally, and even if you don't know Spanish or know much Spanish, you'll find yourself singing along to some of the songs. My favorite song on it is Estoy Aqui.

Sure, otherwise I wouldn't do it. Seriously, I'm interested what you have to say on various subjects and I enjoy your company.
See the last sentence.
It's again getting late, so I'll answer this question briefly. I'm a chemist, perhaps one of the reasons why I fancy Snape.

Do you enjoy reading my LJ: I have yet to read your LJ.
Why or why not?: A new friend... :) My first time commenting. Hehehe
Interesting fact about you: I may be the only Quiller I know who is not in search for 87.
Weird fact about you: If you consider abovementioned weird. Or else, I wanted to go to NYC once because Elijah Woord stayed there (for awhile). Ok, that is not weird. That's psychotic. Heh.

Hmm... Rebecca Wells, because she's so neat.

I used to hate living in Harford County. I now can't imagine living anywhere else.

I have a love/hate relationship with this place myself. A lot of the people annoy me, and I hated my HS, and yet... it's *home*. Besides, I don't hate everyone here, obviously! ;)

Now to do yours...
