I don't think I did one of these in 2009, but I  did one in 2007 and 2008, if anyone's interested.

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets.

Earth's Children.

The mysterious dark gothy one whom you used to sit up with talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized he really was fucking crazy.

Heroes and Dollhouse, although the second season was actually pretty good.

The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved he doesn't actually live in town.

Angel.

The steady.

Not really sure I have a "steady" anymore. Harry Potter's borderline.

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with.

Supernatural.

The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't.

Community - I like the shows, but never really got into the fandom, though [livejournal.com profile] community_tv is a decent TV community. Yeah, there's fangirling, but discussion of the show actually exists as well. Still, I just can't get into fanfic for it.

The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it.

Jossverse, Harry Potter, the first season of Heroes.

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool guy except it's never really gone anywhere.

Supernatural.

The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep thinking, "him?"

Twilight, Dancing With the Stars.

The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly.

None really.

The one who gave you the best damned summer of your life and who you measure all other potential partners against.

Make that seven summers. Harry Potter. (Not counting the first summer where I read the first two books but didn't explore the fandom.)

My own:

The high school sweetheart you never truly "got over" and still stalk on Facebook.

Harry Potter.

The one you thought would've gone somewhere but you caught on way too late.

Firefly.

The one who keeps coming back just as you've started to forget his name.

Earth's Children.

This is so full of Lulzy-ness. I love most of your answers for it. (Why? Twilight, so true)

I might have to do this.

Hee. Great meme. Well worded. I may try it. I'm in the same Supernatural camp as you.

Yeah, I like what SPN I've seen but I never got into it the way I did Firefly or even Buffy. I think even if I did watch the show though, I'd avoid the fandom - granted, people probably say that about the HP fandom too, and while I won't deny that I probably should've left while there was still time (LOL), I don't regret finding it for a second. Underneath the wankage and annoyingness there were good times. But still, in general I've always been... take it or leave it with Supernatural. Sam and Dean have a great (platonic) relationship, though.
