Castle

Just saw last night's episode of Castle. Am an emotional wreck.

Oh, and seriously, if you haven't watched it yet... it just got even better, and it's already a great show.

It was heartbreaking that Beckett was so close to finding her answers, only to lose it.

There has to be other evidence somewhere indicating why someone hired a hit man to kill her mother. They just need to find it, and put that puzzle together. But I expect no more major developments on that front until next season.

It was also great to see this new milestone in the relationship between Castle and Beckett--he felt humbled enough to want to leave their partnership, and she admitted that she likes him enough to want him to stay. It's not romance (yet), which is good. But it's finally genuine friendship.

Overall, it was a good mystery with compelling emotional ups and downs.

And I think even that'll be just another step - I don't think we'll know who killed Beckett's mother until the final season. It'll always be a battle.

I wanted them to kiss, and then I felt that it was best they didn't. It wouldn't have been right. I did think that the fact that Castle offered to leave said a lot.

I actually liked the dynamic between everyone in this. It was very well done.

What they said to each other at the end was just so cool. I do wish they would have hugged or squeezed one another's hands or something.

I loved this episode SO MUCH
The only thing I didn't like was Ryan's falling for the fake-o real estate thing.
But HOLY CRAP when that guy took Castle captive and then HO SHIT Castle fought back and then OH NO Beckett shot him and then OH GEEZ he died and then AWWWW Castle brought ten kinds of food and then NO NO NO Castle offered to quit and then ALDSFKJASDLKFJASDLKFJ Beckett said she's grown accustomed to his face and then *happy humming sound*

I, for one, was not predicting a kiss, but I admit I was expecting some slightly more romantic confession... you know me... still! Still!

I would think they'd get warrants to go through every piece of information about that man - like the bank records for the account they deposited Castle's money into to hire him.

If they could get bank account and routing numbers for everyone who ever hired him, I would think ONE of those would belong to someone with a name Beckett or her father would recognize......and I see no reason why it should take until next season! If she wants to find out badly enough, she should pursue it. They could start investigating in the next episode!
