Quick Charlie Question

(Sorry, non-HP people, another public Harry Potter post.)

So I was reading some Charlie Weasley fanfic, and I realized that a lot of the time, Charlie is portrayed as either:

- An Adonis.

- A sexaholic.

- Both.

Am I the only one who sort of sees Charlie as a bit like a younger Hagrid with more common sense and less alcoholism?  I mean, I do see his job as being in a very rugged, busy atmosphere where there was more time for lust than actual love, so I'm sure he's not Mr. Committment, but I'm not sure where people get Sexy Dragon-Lovin' Adonis Player from. Bill, I can see, but not Charlie.

How do you see Charlie Weasley?

His easy teasing ways with Tonks, his strength and physicality, his ability to detach himself from his family even though he loves them, but his dependability in a crisis. He seems to like people more than Hagrid does, but have a Hagrid-like sense that many animals are people, too.

When does he tease Tonks? I can't remember that. He last appears in book four and I thought she didn't appear till book five. Was it at the wedding?

It makes sense that he'd be muscular handling dragons.

I could be hallucinating (and someone is asleep in the room where my book 6 is, so I can't check) but I thought that there was a comment along those lines in the sections where Molly thinks Tonks is pining for Bill in book 6. I could be wrong, though!

To be honest, I think with those things you're thinking of fanfic. (Happens to the best of us - so many things I could've sworn were canon!) I could be wrong though... I'll take a peek at the wedding chapter of TDH later.
