Hee! Nah, not really. A friend had linked to some story about a shipwar, and we were talking about them at TWW a few days ago. Sometimes they get irritating, but I was bemused - and okay, mildly cynical - when I wrote this.
Ah! Yes, I was the one who began that discussion at TWW -- very interesting responses to that thread. I have to agree with you -- I always found shipwars more annoying than anything else.
People need to realize that not everyone is going to agree with who you ship. Fandom would be a happier place if everyone thought "Well, I guess not everyone likes Soandso/Whosawhat."
