Want me to write a drabble for you? Comment here with something - characters, a missing moment, a random prompt, etc. When I'm doing replying, I'll post another entry linking to my responses. (I'll actually respond to the comment.)
Fandoms I will write:
- Firefly
- Heroes (though I'm only really good for season 1 canon)
- Harry Potter
- Buffy (though I'm only really good for the first two seasons canon - everything else I've seen bits of)
- Doctor Horrible
- Rent
- Wicked
Ships I will write:
- Remus/Tonks (include post-TDH AU if you'd like!)
- Charlie/Tonks (I'll only do post-TDH AU or pre-OoTP with that)
- Ron/Hermione
- Harry/Ginny
- Kaylee/Simon
- Zoe/Wash
- Neville/Hannah
- Hestia/Kingsley (it would be fun to try, anyway)
ETA: I'm also more than happy to write genfic. :) I love exploring friendships and siblingships and so on.

Date: 2008-10-26 10:55 pm (UTC)Being a flatmate is a trying task for any witch or wizard. Indeed, one may wake up to find their favorite socks a boiling cauldron if things go awry.
Fear not, though. There are five simple rules that will guide you in being the ideal roommate.
Remus and Tonks looked up from the book, and laughed.
Rule #1: Don't take the last of anything. Save it for a guest.
"Wotcher, Remus," Tonks said as she strolled into the kitchen, yawning. "Still up?"
Remus nodded. "Couldn't sleep-"
But Remus was interrupted by a loud screech.
"What's wrong?" He asked as he stood quickly.
Tonks was staring at the cookie jar.
"No more cookies!"
Remus licked his lips awkwardly.
Rule #2: Use tact.
Tonks walked into Remus's room.
"Hey, Remus," she said, "I'm thinking of getting some of that... pizza stuff my muggle cousins like so much. Want any?"
Then she saw he was packing.
"Oh, I forgot, full moon," Tonks blurted.
Remus stopped, and stared at her.
"Um... I saw your file," Tonks admitted. "Ages ago. But don't worry, I don't bite - I mean - um -"
To her relief, Remus laughed.
Rule #3: Don't intervene.
"Excuse me, excuse me."
Remus and Tonks looked at one another and groaned as Rita Skeeter hurried up to them.
Rita's eyes fixed on Tonks. "Aren't you that Auror who's related to Sirius Black?"
For once, Tonks didn't come up with a snarky reply; her face fell, and she hesitated.
"Well," Remus began, "that makes the wizarding world a little safer, doesn't it? I know I sleep easier at night knowing we have someone who knows how Death Eaters work on our side."
Remus took Tonks's arm, and the two friends walked away from the stunned reporter.
Rule #4: Don't do dangerous things just to make your flatmate happy.
Tonks crept into the flat, looking around.
Remus was on the sofa, reading. How unusual.
"Remus? Are we alone?" Tonks asked.
Remus looked up at her. "What?"
"Are we alone?"
"I - guess?"
"Good," Tonks said. "Close the curtains, I've got a surprise for you."
"Close the - what?"
"Just do it," Tonks said.
Remus gave her a bemused look, but obliged; Tonks turned, and motioned for the black dog to come in.
Remus's eyes widened as he stared. "Sirius?"
Sirius grinned after he transformed. "Dora didn't want any of us to be alone on Christmas."
Rule #5: To avoid sticky situations, don't fall in love.
"You really have to go," Tonks said as Remus closed his trunk.
Remus sighed. "I need to be there, with Sirius. Besides, you'll get a flatmate who can actually help with the rent."
"There's more important things in life than money," Tonks said softly.
"Like fighting the war," Remus reminded her.
Tonks hesitated, and suddenly, she threw her arms around him.
Remus hugged her back, and it was several seconds before he let go.
