Disclaimer: The "Random Facts Fest" is a meme being held by iulia_linnea on InsaneJournal. I wish to highly plug it! And the characters themselves? All Jo Rowling's.
(More formal disclaimer will come when I'm home from work/class.)
Five Random Facts About Victoire Weasley (at age six):
1. Victoire's best friend in the world is Teddy Lupin. She loves how he can make his face change, and loves it even more when he does it accidentally; Teddy loves that she has red hair, because, as he puts it, it looks like carrots, the only vegetable Mrs. Tonks doesn't have to make him eat.
2. Maman would like for Marie and Gideon to be Victoire's best friends, but Gideon, three years old, cries a lot and Marie, five years old, gets all the attention, because, Victoire often tells Teddy with a small pout, "she's prettier."
3. Victoire is afraid of frogs. Whenever she sees a frog, whether it's a picture or a frog in the Magical Menagerie, she screams until either Marie slaps her, Grandma rubs her face with a warm cloth and checks her temperature, or Maman starts saying things in french.
4. Victoire doesn't know what Maman is saying when she speaks french, but Daddy says she's too young to know some of the things unless Maman teaches them to her.
5. When Victoire grows up, she wants to be a muggle. When she told her grandparents that idea, Grandpa got excited and started on about something called "eclecity."
Five Random Facts About Victoire Weasley (at age eleven):
1. Victoire still looks mostly Weasley, except for having her mother's nose and mouth, which Victoire considers a blessing.
2. Victoire considers this a blessing because she does not want to be visibly Veela. Her little sister Marie looks downright Veela except for the red hair, and Victoire is convinced this will only lead Marie into vanity in her later years. She already caught her wearing Maman's make-up.
3. When Victoire and Teddy Lupin are no longer best friends; that all changed the day seven year old Victoire tried on a necklace of his mother's when Teddy was outside with Mrs. Tonks. Mrs. Tonks and Teddy came into the room, and Mrs. Tonks was convinced Victoire had been about to steal it. To Victoire's annoyance, Teddy bought into it.
4. Victoire finds it ironic that even though Mrs. Tonks eventually admitted perhaps she'd been defensive of her deceased "baby", and greets her fondly every time they meet, Teddy and Victoire still have a tense relationship.
5. Victoire's best friend now is her penpal, Amira Hassan; Amira's parents were friends with Dad when he lived in Egypt. Whenever they visit the Hassans in Egypt - usually every other summer - Victoire and Amira immediately pick up whatever they were discussing in the last letter.
Five Random Facts About Victoire Weasley (at age sixteen):
1. Victoire and Teddy are now friends again; he still calls her "Necklace Stealer", but she simply retorts by calling him "Shape Shifter."
2. They made up for various reasons. The first reason was that they ended up having two of the same friends, David Flint (whose father Victoire's uncles seem to despise), and Lisa O'Rourke.
3. The second reason is that one day in Potions, a boy in Teddy's year and House (Hufflepuff) called Victoire a freak for having Veela blood. Teddy immediately morphed his face five times, and then said "I'm a freak too."
4. Victoire sometimes blushes when Teddy wears his "natural" face. She isn't sure why.
5. Although she once considered them annoying, Victoire is now very protective of Gideon and Marie. She has threatened to end people she has caught teasing them on more than one occasion.
Five Random Facts About Victoire Weasley (at age twenty-one):
1. Victoire is still best friends with Amira, Lisa and David, but Teddy is no longer her best friend; he is the love of her life. She is very much convinced they were meant to be from the start.
2. For Victoire's twenty-first birthday, Teddy gave her his Mum's necklace, because it was a gift Mum recieved, and that "Mum would've wanted me to have given you this when you first touched it."
3. Victoire protects the necklace with her life; she never takes it off unless she has to, and when she has to, she keeps it in her purse.
4. Victoire did not become a muggle, but she does teach Muggle Studies at Hogwarts. She finds muggles are just like her - different.
5. Victoire has one wish: that she knew Teddy's parents. She feels they deserved to see him grow into the man she trusts her life with.
