I know few people may see this, since I'm posting Saturday morning at 9:00 Easteren Standard Time (Mark Cohen, what are you doing in my head?!), but I'm posting it anyway, before I forget. I'll have reminders too.

For those of you awake, however, see behind the cut. It is Harry Potter related - sorry, non-HP people, but I want to invite fandomers outside of my flist, too.

Premise:

You've made the HP fandom into a book , movie, or a play/musical. Design your own cover, or make it based on other covers/posters.

Guidelines:

-
Designs must be in no later than May 4th, 2007, at midnight (so technically, May 5th.) This deadline will not change.

- If you base your cover or poster on another "fandom" so to speak, you may use photoshop. Additionally, if you do this, you must provide an explanation of what the cover is based on.

- I may be using these covers beyond LJ, depending on the amount I recieve; however, I will not without anyone's permission. Just be aware that you may be asked this, again depending on the amount of covers/posters I recieve, as well as if I go through with special plans I have in the near future. (Either way - I WILL be showing the pictures I recieve on Livejournal; I just may or may not be using them outside of it.)

- If you sign up on the comments, be aware that I will be sending email reminders every so often. This is not to nag, but, rather, to remind people.

- Once you have completed your artwork/photomanip, email it to me. :)

Sorry if it wasn't that clear, I know it's a bit complicated. To put it simply... you can design a "cover" or "poster" for the fandom, pretending someone is making a book, movie, or a musical based on it. You can also use photoshop to mimic an already-made cover/poster, and spoof off of that. (Or just draw the cover/poster that's based on the other one.)

Okay, let me give you an example: Say you wanted to do a movie poster. You could either design your own, or photoshop it so it's one of the HP movie posters, but with faces of people in the fandom. OR you could draw such a poster.

Does that make a little more sense?

I'd like to, but I don't know whether I will. Does that make sense? Basically, if the inspiration strikes, I'll do it. But if I try to force it, it will be crap.
