Harry Potter Board
Feb. 9th, 2009 05:09 pmSo a new Harry Potter messageboard has finally been started - The Whomping Willow. (I linked to the explanation of the name on purpose.)
It is also our hope that The Whomping Willow will also be an outlet for fanfiction writers and fanartists. There is a forum where writers and artists can discuss their hobby and hopefully seek advice from one another, as well as encourage one another to write and draw. The process of fanart/fanfiction archiving has not quite been figured out, but please note that this will be a canon-geared site.
Now, onto the application; you see, before The Whomping Willow gets started, it needs a moderating team. The reason for doing applications is so that all interest can have a fair chance of becoming a moderator. Note that even if you do not become a mod, you are still welcome to join (knowing the board may change) and/or give us your suggestions.

You can either reply by email at author_by_night AT yahoo DOT com, or reply here; anonymous posting is allowed, as long as you let me know how to get back to you. Note that if you send me anything by email, I will reply to let you know I got it - this does not mean I chose you as a mod; what it means is that I got the email. After all, sometimes Yahoo likes to hide my emails. ;)
