No Good Speech Goes Unstartling

So, this morning, I was listening to As Long As You're Mine and No  Good Deed Goes Unpunished (from Wicked).

Well, I get to Speech class...

This entry was initially a commemoration of Matthew Shepard; however, it came to my attention that his parents had apparently requested people stop passing around the picture of him with a quote in their blogs. Even though it may not be true, I'd rather not disrespect the grief of his parents - especially as really, I can see their point now that I think of it.

I will say, however, that I think violence against homosexuals - and anyone people consider to be too different for their liking - needs to stop, and that we should take some form of action, even if it seems small.
