Harry Potter:

1. The pairing you first fell in love with: Well, I wouldn't say in love with, but one of the first pairings I read and liked was Harry/Hermione. (And yes, that's right, you have just witnessed a Quiller saying she once liked Harry/Hermione).

2. The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now: Remus/Tonks. I always thought it seemed cute, but I sort of thought of it as an "oddment". (Ariana Black's term for odd pairings). Then I started to like it more and more. I still don't know if I think it's canon, but more because truthfully, I doubt we'll see much of them anyway.

3. The pairing everyone else loves that you don't: Draco/Hermione/Harry/etc, same with Snape (usually). I don't know, I just don't see it.

4. The pairing you love that everyone else hates: Hmm... I'm actually not sure. I mean, I don't fully love any pairing except Ron/Hermione (and even then, I'll read Ron and Hermione with different people, with exceptions to either of them/Draco and Hermione/Harry).

5. The pairing you used to love but don't any longer: I'm trying to think about that... I used to like the idea of Hermione/Neville, but now I think Neville is someone she's nice to out of pity, not hope for friendship or anything.

I say I liked/like H/Hr constantly, so you aren't alone. And there are a couple of quillers who are H/Hr's, sort of. I kind of agree with you about Neville/Hermione, I tend to just cross apply JK's reason for no N/L to N/Hr. Really, both work, though I do think she is properly friends with him.

It's actually interesting how many there are. I must say, before I discovered the Quill, I never even paired anyone. Then when I saw people talking about Hermione and Ron, it clicked, and I felt moronic for not noticing before. (A nasty shock when I first heard about Pumpkin Pie...I was completely confused as to how that thread of thinking came about *rolls eyes at own ignorance*

Obviously, I'm also dead set on Chocolate Lightning, though, so that could explain it. ;) H/G, R/Hr...it IS a bit sad when I become so defensive towards literary characters, but hey...it's a part of fandom. ;)

Also love Remus/Tonks for your exact reasons. Hey, poor Remus needs SOMEONE, doesn't he? Poor baby.
