That's a book by Harper Lee, about racism in the 1930's, as well as the loss of innocence. I love that book, and have re-read it several times.

Oh, lol, I know what the book is about ... What I was wondering is what you like about it. When I first read it I completely identified myself with Scout's character (precocious reader, ungirly as they come) and I nagged my mother for years (I must have been around 9 at the time) to buy me an overall ... which she never did, sadly :(

Aw. Well, I just like TKAM because I always get something out of it, and because it's inspiring. Plus, it has terrific characters and great symbolism that's there, but not balatant.
