I have officially lost my mind.

I don't expect to make it, but... I've decided to try.

Oh! Good luck! It's only about 1700 words a day. 50,000 words is only about 2/3s of your average ppbk bodice ripper. You can do it!!

I've been thinking about it myself but haven't yet come up with a suitable plot.

My problem is that my plot ideas are either things that I'd possibly publish some day, or way too complex to fit into one month. I think I'll do one of those stories I've always wanted to write, that I don't think will turn into anything great, but I know I could probably do justice with only a month to spare. I have two possible ideas, actually, both of which are "westerens" of a sort.

On the NaNoWriMo homepage, they mention some people that went on to get their manuscripts published. If I were to be working on something I was going to publish, I'd probably keep it private or have really limited readership.
