I got an IM on Skype from someone asking if I could talk. I don't know if it was someone on my flist or LJ in general, but if so, I'm so sorry I missed it. Please don't rely on IM if you need me - IM me, but also send an email if I don't answer.

And yes, I'm aware that it could've been a spammer, and for all I know the reason they wanted to talk was to show me something R-rated. Actually, that's more likely, given that I don't know anyone by that name. But still.

there's a virus going around (mine came through aim) in which random users send you pictures or in your case r-rated movies...yeah just be careful. i was quite confused at first, and luckily i didn't fall for it. :)

That's one thing that annoys me about Skype - the random people requesting your contact details and you never know when it's actually someone you know.

Yeah. MSN and Yahoo do that too - I like AIM, where you don't know. Because the opposite has happened, where people sawI added them and thought I was some weirdo - though at least on Yahoo and Skype, you can explain in a message.
