  1. being a typical pisces:
I'm a pisces, and I think you can be a typical one. I certainly am - I'm creative, dreamy, and I LOVE the water. Seriously - I often feel spiritual and fulfilled while floating in water, especially when it's natural water.

  2. fandom history:
It's just very interesting to me. I'd LOVE to read a pre-CoS Harry Potter fanfic. I doubt it'd be easy to find, though. (For the record, yes, I've read Gypsy's PoA fic that was the first HP fic up on fanfiction.net).
  3. harry potter:
The books are the reason I've become the writer and person I am today. Also, 95% of my best friends are from the Harry Potter fandom.
  4. jem finch:
I just like his character dynamic in To Kill A Mockingbird, and how he grows, along with Scout and Dill.
  5. making fun of fandom:
It's fun. *Shrugs* If I didn't laugh at some of the people in this fandom, I'd end up going insane, so I've picked the former. ;) Besides, some people are just too unintentionally funny to take seriously.
  6. phantom of the opera:
Very entrancing story, though I haeve to admit, a bit confusing. I first saw/read it at eleven, and completely missed the point. (I actually hated Raoul and sympathized with the Phantom - poor Raoul. But that's why I have just a tiny bit of understanding towards the really young Draco/Snape/Lucius fans. They're not old enough to distinguish between "bullied" and "using having been bullied to become a sick person.")
  7. remus lupin:
I just find him interesting - his backstory, everything. Besides, "waddiwasi" was classic! ;) Not to mention Boggart!Snape. I know a lot of people say that one was mean, as Snape was a colleague, but if I'd been Remus and seen Snape harassing Neville in front of his peers and myself, I'd probably have done the same thing.
  8. singing:
I love to sing, even though I'm not that great.
  9. the glass menagerie:
Great play, about a family in Missouri in the 1940's. Actually, it was based on Tenessee William's real family, which makes it more interesting. It's a sad play, but I like the issue of escapism and such.
  10. tom wingfield:
A character in TGM; he's just really interesting. He doesn't follow the rules, so to speak.

::is agog:: I'm flummoxed that people would lay responsibility for Boggart!Snape in Lupin's hands :} For one, Snape was Neville's boggart (not that I'm blaming Neville -- the boy obviously had been petrified of Snape up to that point). For another, it was very observant of Lupin to recognize that Neville was bound by fear (of Snape or otherwise), that he had potential beyond his means, and that to overcome fear was part and parcel of overcoming the horrible trauma his parents suffered and his overbearing Gram. Afaic, Lupin helped Neville shake the intimidation he felt from Snape and Gram Longbottom in one fell swoop. *eesh* Some people :}
