This is the "ask me five questions" meme. Comment if you want me to ask you some; I will, and you can post the replies in your LJ.
Questions asked to me by
stmaragets:
1. What's your favorite cartoon?
Actually, I don't really watch cartoons. But I used to love Charlie Brown and Garfield, and will probably introduce those shows to my kids, if I ever raise them.
2. Coke or Pepsi?
At a restauraunt or whatever it doesn't matter, but for some reason I prefer canned or bottled Pepsi to canned or bottled Coke.
3. You're invited to the Yule Ball. What color robes are you wearing and who is your date?
If I'm a MWPP era person? Remus. Trio era? Um... not sure.
My robes are probably blue. Or white. Or pink and black.
4. Hagrid takes you to Diagon Alley to buy a pet. Which magical creature would you select?
I'd get a normal cat, probably.
5. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Er... only counting ones I currently wear, about seven or eight. Maybe more. I haven't really counted. I reuse a lot
of them, because I have narrow feet and finding quality shoes is a pain. So in actuality, I probably have three pairs
that are actually new.

I don't have that many shoes either.

3. Apple or Pumpkin Pie?
4. Tie along with #2 - any guilty pleasure books?
5. Where is the weirdest place you've found yourself?

Date: 2006-04-20 06:32 pm (UTC)2. "It's Raining Men." LOL - that's hard to say. I do like Dance music - so all those cheesy Disco Songs would probably go on the list of guilty pleasures - but not a steady diet.
3. Not being an H/Hr - I'll say: Apple - but my favorite is cherry.
4. I read Harlequin romances when the goin' gets tough.
5. This one was hard! Either I haven't been anywhere, or I kind of take things as they come. I've been to some weird houses and to some weird parties - but it was more that the people were weird rather than the place itself. Hmm. I guess being out in the middle the woods in Northern Maine ranks up there as an erie experience since there was no one around for miles and miles. No cell phone, nothing. Those kind of places give me the heebie-jeebies.

Date: 2006-04-20 01:18 pm (UTC)I am from Berlin, Germany. The Bear is out heladic sign. Ans as I'm rather bear-shaped, and a proud Berliner on top of it, I chose the name of Berlin Bear. And I love bears, of course.
2. What book character reminds you of someone you know?
Well, I don't know him personally yet, but on the wedding picture Gitte's (Gitte (Geet) from ECfans) hubby Ralph reminds me a lot of a grown-up Harry Potter.
3. What's better, lemonade or fruit punch?
I don't really like lemonade - too sweet. Prefer juice mixed with mineral water. But a nice fruit punch on a nice garden party would be quite welcome.
4. Sunny, slightly cool day or very warm cloudy day?
I'd prefer a sunny, slightly cool day. Don't feel comfortable in temperatures above 27°C. I only love hot days when on our boat outaside on the lake - so I can jump in for a cool-down whenever I like.
5. If you're married, where was your honeymoon? If you're not, where is your ideal honeymoon?
After our wedding we went on a trip through Germany with our little motor-home. Spent 2 of the 3 weeks on Sylt island in the North-Sea, just behind the dunes. It was absolutely wonderful!
My ideal honeymoon would have been somewhere near to the Sea or on an island, too. So it WAS perfect. (This year it's been 20 years we're married now - and still happy)

Date: 2006-04-20 05:38 pm (UTC)1. Why do you call yourself "Julibeth"? Besides the fact that your middle name is Elizabeth. (Unless that's the only reason).
2. What's worse: Book seven coming out in a year, but although it's really good, it's also only 500 pages, OR book seven being 800 pages, and coming out in 2010?
3. What is a guilty pleasure movie you love?
4. Have you ever named a belonging?
5. What is something I probably don't know about you? (Nothing personal, just something really random like "I have Harry Potter slippers.")

2. What is the one smell you can't stand, no matter what? (if it's too gross to mention, don't worry, hehe)

Date: 2006-04-20 09:16 pm (UTC)About five kiddy type crushes, one sort-of-crush, and four serious crushes where I honestly saw romantic potential in the guys. I've never really been in love though.
2. What is the one smell you can't stand, no matter what? (if it's too gross to mention, don't worry, hehe)
Cigarettes. Seriously. If someone is smoking and passing me, I will step aside and hold my breath if they've passed, and that's outside. If I have to be in front of or next to a smoker, outside or inside, I will cough the moment I get away. I don't know how anyone can stand it.
3. Do you think aliens will ever be confirmed to exist?
Not the ET type, but... you never know about others.
4. Do you like having long nails or short?
Long-ish - I don't want to be able to cut someone with them, but I can't stand them being too short either.
5. Have you ever purchased anything off an infomercial?
Not straight from one, no.
