Something I keep forgetting to mention...
A while ago, linda_lupos and I were talking about the Dutch HBP.
Linda: (Blah blah blah)... and RAB is RAZ...
Me: Isn't "Sirius Black" "Sirius Zwarts" in the Dutch books?
Linda: Exactly!
So, yes. Possibly actual proof. I mean, why specifically Z as an initial if that's not the case?
By the way, Happy Belated Thanksgiving to fellow Americans!

Just to avoid disappointment, I should mention that the Dutch translator doesn't have Jo's telephone number. It's just an educated guess - but it looks like RAB is Regulus anyway. :)

As far as I know, 'Black' hasn't been translated in the German edition (I haven't read it, though).
The French edition would have to say "R.E.N." then.
Very interesting, that.
Ooooh, to be a translator... :)

Then it must be, innit? But then Wiebe Buddingh' did translated "Blaise Zabini" to "Bella Zabini", and we know that wasn't right.
