Actually, I think you've hit it right on the nose. I see Rosa as being more April than Gina, but I think you're right that it's more them being a combination. That's the thing with the characters, you can see ones from past shows in them, but they're all their own as well. I mean, Jake is sort of a combination of Andy and Leslie - not terribly bright, totally has a roleplay character similar to Bert Macklin, but is also at times too dedicated to his job and holds himself to high standards.
