Is anyone else just not getting their friends' posts?

Because seriously, 24 hours will pass and I'll have five posts on my feed. Fine, it's a busy time of year and LJ's not that active, but then I go to individual LJs and surprise: I never saw their posts, even though there's only been about five posts a day, so you'd think I would've remembered that one.

Is LJ doing what facebook does? I don't really use filters so I don't think it's that.

It's hidden a few posts in the past, as I've said before, but either I'm using a filter and don't realize it or... I don't know. Anyone else having this issue?

(The one non-tech possibility I can think of is that people do seem to be posting what's later into the evening/night my time, and I tend to go offline around 10, 10:30 EST. So maybe everyone's just updating when I've already signed off for the night?)

I'm not having this problem at the moment, but it has happened to me in the past. It resolved itself within a few days - hopefully yours does the same!

I'm hoping that it has, because I'm getting more posts now. It's just very strange.

I mean, it's happened a bit with some people in the past - but I think with some people, they've just posted at totally different times from when I check my flist, so we haven't coincided well. Whereas right now it seems that I'm really just not seeing posts.

Geez, I really hope LJ doesn't start doing what FB does. I hate that FB does it. I hate that Instagram is implementing it. I really wish social medias (and blogs if it gets that far) would stop doing this and show me EVERY post. There is a reason I subscribe/follow those people and it's not because I want to miss half their content.

(Sorry for the mini-rant. This is something that has really been aggravating me lately.)

I'm pretty sure I'm not having that problem right now, but it's definitely been an issue for me once or twice before.
