Yep. Apparently it's an offshoot of 'otherkin' - people who think they're part fairy, dragon or other mythological creatures. Sounds like something from a movie or a book to me but these people seem to really believe it.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to with ghostkin... I can't believe even that's a thing. Though apparently it's not so much that they think they're half-ghost as it is they think they can take on the characteristics of other ___ kin. Or something like that, I didn't devote too much time to researching it, as you can imagine.

I hate these the most. And they always feature comment sections where people try to use common sense and actual facts and get dogpiled with angry comments full of conspiracy theories and questionable citations.
