Another Harry Potter post on the internet

Someone posts about Harry Potter on the internet. An entertainment site. Livejournal. Facebook. fandomsecrets. Wherever.

Behold, the comments you're most likely to see.

I never bothered myself with the frivolities of Harry Potter. I was too busy immersing myself in real literature.

Dude, why are you even here?

I am expressing my immense displeasure in being forced to read an article on the internet. I clearly have much better things to do with my time.

i never read the  books but the movies are great!!!!

(etc.)

Whatever, she's only staying relevant to she can buy a condo for her each of her designer dogs.

DON'T KNOCK JO SHE'S A FLAWLESS GODDESS OF WISDOM!

That might be stretching it.

How recent was this? It definitely used to be the case, big time. I think tumblr's can get like that... LJ, I dunno.

But I'm also talking less about Harry Potter fandom spaces and more multifandom spaces, as well as spaces that aren't fandom related at all, where Harry Potter's brought up. For instance, I don't know if you read fandomsecrets, but if someone mentions Harry Potter there, that's pretty much the response you get. ("Pssh, Harry Potter Harry Schmotter." "SHE KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS!" etc.) Or those articles on facebook that "tag" the Harry Potter interest.
