I'm more excited about FB too, for similar reasons. And I really do see it as separate.
I'll probably buy the book, but I might not binge read it the way I did each time I read a new book in the series. (With DH, I pretty much got home from the bookstore, read, took a break for lunch, read, had dinner, read, finished, went to bed with a horrible headache.)
