Melissa is a journalist, so there you are. Although I always thought that a big part of reputable journalism was tact - you, as a reporter, have to be (or act) unbiased, even if the person you're interviewing is anything but. But there you are.

Methinks the problem is that Emerson and Melissa did the stunt for themselves as much as anyone else - understandably, because who wouldn't want to meet Rowling? And in that case, it'd have been more, I don't know, sane to only give us parts of the transcript. But they didn't. And life goes on.
