Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think she means now that JKR apparently doesn't like Ron/Hermione as much as we thought, it'll become more popular because she doesn't.

Because fandom is very contrary. The first example that comes to mind is Pansy's increase in popularity after JKR trashed her and said Draco married Asteria Greengrass. Now it's all Pansy Sue as far as the eye can see.
