Sorcerer's Stone (August 1999): I finally decide to please my dad by picking up the stupid book. Wait... am I enjoying it?!

Chamber of Secrets (August 1999): Two hours later, I go downstairs. "Dad, where's the other book?" I get it, go back into my bedroom, wondering how I went from a foe to a fan in a time frame of two hours.

Prisoner of Azkaban (December 1999): My Mom has bought it for me while I am at tutoring. I read it while waiting for my ride home (why she didn't drive me home is beyond my memory - I remember being in the car with my dad afterwards, saying "it's good so far - there's a maniac after Harry!" Sigh, how wrong I was).

Goblet of Fire (July 2000): My Mother has made me wait till we depart for Canada before reading; I spend eight hours devouring the novel, and re-read the next five days.

Order of the Phoenix (June 2003): I wait all morning. No copy. I wait past noon. No copy. Mom and I find copy at grocery store. I devour OoTP, get spoiled because I go online. Later find out the book I ordered had gone to my Dad's office, and no one thought to call. ^^

Half Blood Prince (July 2005): Shall see!
