Although I wasn't one of the many people who was horrified at Pam and Jim's pregnancy news - I thought it was sweet how they told us - I was dreading the "baby birth" episode. I was expecting them to copy right off of TLC's "A Baby Story", complete with shots of Pam screaming and then the ever-cheesyness following.
Of course, I expected that out of the wedding episode too, and we didn't. We didn't get it here either.
I liked that they showed real problems: breastfeeding not being as easy as it seems (although I kind of found it creepy that the cameras were filming that - unless it's not canon anymore that the characters are part of a documentary, and the talking heads are random monologues?), but a friend of mine had a similar problem. And we didn't get too much screaming followed by insta-birth... I loved that the second part took place hours later.
The baby switcheroo was definitely predictable, but at least they didn't run through the hospital looking for it.
I don't mind the name Cecelia... it's a tad old fashioned, but it fits Pam's personality IMO.
The Dwight and Angela plot was... I don't even know. I didn't get it. Either Angela really wants a baby badly, really wants Dwight back badly, or I missed something (which is possible, because Hulu kept acting up and I think I missed some parts of some scenes).
I liked Andy and Erin. I know a lot of people think they're the "new" Jim and Pam, but other than them being sales/receptionist again, I don't really see it. Honestly, I kind of like seeing the new receptionist getting her own love story, only with different twists and turns. Though I could've done without the Kevin thing.
