Here via metafandom and I wanted to thank you for an interesting post. I think that LJ has some technological advantages over discussion boards for fiction discussion. I've lost track of story discussion on boards which don't support threading beyond the top level. LJ's ability to reply to a comment is excellent for organizing discussion!
Anyway, I thank you for bringing up this point. It really got me thinking!
