I listed the 1970's. I started high school at the beginning, attended college and by the end of the decade was a married woman. I guess that is some growing up.
Really I sort of view the whole time as so blah. I was not into disco, drugs or the flipped hair-do's like Farah Fawcett. I can remember watching cable tv for the first time. It was a Steve Martin routine that was so funny.
I had a Chevy Monte Carlo. Huge boat of a car with a little opera window in the rear seat. So stylish of a ride. At the start of the 70's skirts were so short you had a hard time not exposing yourself. By the end the hemlines were down around your ankles.
