Reasons why Remus/Tonks will never work:

1. She cares that he's a Werewolf, the little brat. This was illustrated in the Hospital Scene at the end of HBP.

2. Sirius isn't really dead. He's just on vacation in happy happy Veil Land!

3. Remus doesn't really love Tonks. That's why he was holding her hand at the end of HBP.

4. R/T shippers are all ten year olds who just like Tonks having pink hair the way they like their barbie dolls having rainbow hair. We don't have shippers who are Librarians or College Professors, no we do not!

5. Remus belongs to meeeeeeee

I have been Saved

No, not in the Jack Chick sense. I haven't been told by an eight year old girl named Susy how her evil teacher is teh satan and if I agree, I'll go to Heaven, but if I don't I'll be run over by a truck and go to hell via a funny-looking demon.


I have, however, realized that these past months, I wasn't true to myself.

I tried to like Remus/Tonks. I really did. But now, I realize it was just an attempt at following the crowd. In a way, I'm more like fifteen year old Remus than the adult one.

I have come to realize that Tonks is a hopeless Sue. She has ridiculously sue-per powahs, and she really WAS a brat in HBP. I mean, how dare she tell Remus she loves him after he'd just lost someone dear? A little less fluff in the world, I say! I have more reasoning here.

Then I realized, if Tonks is a Sue... so are most of the female characters. Ginny has red hair, for crying out loud! How much more Sueified can you get? 
And Hermione... she really was OOC in book six. I've been denying my feelings about that, too. 

In fact, I've decided I'm becoming a H/Hr shipper. There's just so much more toast that side of paradise! Besides, JKR knows nothing about Hermione. The proof of that is anvil sized.

Finally... I'm going off Original Characters. OC writer friends, hear me out - I have not failed you! I just cannot handle the mere site of them anymore. Ever
since I read a really stupid story about this blonde girl in the Ice Age who invents random things and talks to animals using ancient signs with her arms,
(though at least she can't sing), I've decided she's no better than most Original Characters, and if they are in books, they bug me! So why not in fics? I
have even created a list of signs of Sueness.

I'm sorry if you all feel betrayed, but hopefully you can see my reasons.

Sniff.

Pen N Paper Update

I'm sure most of you are having too much fun at the Quill, TLC and Leakymug to notice this, but I do want to mention that Pen N Paper is up again - this time a lot more user friendly, and the forums are starting to liven up. We also have four stories up! 

For the uninformed, Pen N Paper is a site my friend  ([Bad username or unknown identity: julibeth) ]runs inwhich you write original stories or poems and submit them. As I said above, we also have discussion forums. 

Please check it out, and submit something if you have a chance. We do require Copy Editors - basically the same thing as Beta Readers - but we try and make sure the submitters hear from us within a day or two. :)

Sorry about the plugging guys, but I really am eager to advertise now that the site is alive! :)
