Jun. 13th, 2005 07:24 amTen fics I'd love to see that I hardly ever do:
- A fic where someone other than Remus or Harry is sad about Sirius.
- A fic that's about all sorts of relationships - not just one type. And where nothing upstages the other.
- A fic where Hermione and Ron get together after Hogwarts, and don't have their first kiss literally a second after yelling mercilessly at one another.
- A fic where Tonks and Remus are in love, but Tonks isn't Lara Tonks, who magically flicks away Remus's tears every time, and kisses every scratch or bruise he gets, and Remus isn't Mr. Sad.
- A fic where Snape is slightly misunderstood - without him being fluffy or a truthfully wonderful person.
- A fic where Remus gets the girl for once, while at Hogwarts.
- A fic that takes place during book six - without the whole thing being about Ron/Hermione/Harry/Ginny/Draco/Pansy/Crabbe/Millicent Bulstrode/Blaise Zabini/Cho/Roger Davies/Luna/Seamus/Lavendar/Fred/Angelina/George....
- An AU that is believable.
- A fic about hard times that manages not to be a pocket full of angst.
- A pairing not seen a lot that isn't NC-17.
- A really good slash fic that's not written because the author wanted to be funny or daring, but because the author honestly saw the relationship.
- A unique pairing ship under the rating of R. Or if it is R, not just because the author wanted it to be all about smut.
* Note: For recs, please nothing over PG-13 unless its not for smut. I'm not using my own computer, and I feel uncomfortable reading sex scenes anyway.
