Occasionally Snarky and Meta

It honestly wasn't all bad. I'd say that the people I met and the things I was able to experience made it worth it. I actually miss the fandom compared to what I have found since, because there was so much passion. Most other fandoms I've found are either more quietly passionate the way HP is because the canon is closed and a lot of people aren't really involved anymore, or it's more of a "deep like." But I do think it was highly dysfunctional a lot of the time, and that I don't miss. Passion and obsession without people verbally attacking and gaslighting each other would've been preferable, to say the least.
