I wrote this after witnessing a conversation wherein a woman relayed troubles with an abusive husband. This is not based on anything I myself am going through.

I have cut this for possible triggers. It's actually quite short.

It's okay to have friends.

It's okay if those friends are men.

It's okay to disagree.

It's okay to make commitments unrelated to the relationship.

It's okay to apply for that time-consuming but fun job.

It's okay to object to things that make you uncomfortable.

It's okay to keep your email password secret.

It's okay to take risks.

It's okay to look gorgeous.

It's okay to have bad hair days.

The only thing not okay in this equation is him.
