Subject: How Are You?
Hi guys. I'm a little confused.
Rob gave me his email, and I thought that it would keep us closer together, until we go back to school in the fall and see each other again. I mean, phone calls get expensive, and snail mail is snail mail.
Except in the email I got from him, he never once asked how I'm doing. Just talked about himself. But he did ask about "U."
I don't know who or what this "U" is, and it's driving me crazy. What does U stand for? University? But how would I know how our university is doing? It's not like I call and ask them what they're up to. Universal Studios? Is he hinting that he wants to go/meet there this summer? But he knows the only time I'll get off work is to go to that family reunion, and Minnesota's just a little far from Universal Studios!
I'm kind of worried that he was asking how a person was. Could he have made a typo AND sent the email to me instead? Maybe he meant to ask "how are you, U?" That must be someone's nickname. Ulia? Ulyssa? He does like the women in myths.
I bet that's exactly it. He loves this Goddess named Ulyssa.
He even asks her how she is.
