Hannah looked in the mirror.
She'd been chubby in school and in her early twenties, but now it was coming back. All of it.
Deep down, Hannah knew it was pregnancy weight - her friends all said it was lovely. Besides, she knew it was vain to worry about such a thing.
But she couldn't help it - she felt ugly.
"Hannah?"
Hannah turned.
Neville had walked into the room, a slight frown on his face.
"Why do you keep staring at yourself in the mirror?" He asked.
"I... look at me, Neville," Hannah said. "Look at me. I'm chubby again... like
her.
"
Neville frowned. "Like who?"
Hannah hesitated, and finally mumbled "younger Hannah."
"Why is that a bad thing?" Neville asked.
Hannah sighed.
"I don't know," she admitted. "I'm - I'm so scared, Neville."
Neville took Hannah into his arms.
"You're going to be a great mother," he said quietly. "You have nothing to worry about."
Hannah didn't ask how he knew that was what was really bothering her when she hadn't realized it; she just hugged him back.
