The Fads Poll - Part I
[Poll #1068432] I'm doing this out of interest. This is Part I - I'm going to have a Part II soon. I want to see what fads were the most popular, mostly for fun, though I may find something to do with the information.

80s -> Neon clothing, bike pants and hugely baggy shirts, bad dancing, and slinky mania!
90s -> Lace shirts, button down tops tied in a knot over the stomach, skip-its, basketball (huge for a couple of years in the late ninties), tamagotchis, and spring shaped shoelaces that didn't tie up.
I'm sure there's more - much more - but I can't think of it at the moment.

And had friends with tamagotchis but I always thought it was depressing that they'd die/fly away on you, so I never got one for myself.

Really I sort of view the whole time as so blah. I was not into disco, drugs or the flipped hair-do's like Farah Fawcett. I can remember watching cable tv for the first time. It was a Steve Martin routine that was so funny.
I had a Chevy Monte Carlo. Huge boat of a car with a little opera window in the rear seat. So stylish of a ride. At the start of the 70's skirts were so short you had a hard time not exposing yourself. By the end the hemlines were down around your ankles.
