I actually like a lot of the backstory myself! Should've put a disclaimer that not all of these opinions are mine. ;) It's more based on the general reactions I've seen, and a lot of people do wish she'd write less backstory. (I have mixed feelings. Some of it's seemed very half-hearted. But McG's was amazing.) Also, I didn't really ship R/S, I just threw that in there. So there you go. (I did, however, write OCs but very careful, and when I went into original writing it took a while for me not to be afraid of Mary Sues.)

And yeah, I had to unfollow JKR on twitter - I love following her normally, but it is getting excessive.
