Community Season Six

Am I the only one... really not feeling it?

I hate to say it, but I kind of think Community should've stopped after season three. I know, I know, "six seasons and a movie", but I think it's forgotten who half the characters are. Like, there's no way Jeff
would agree to secretly talking to Britta's parents when he of all people knows how that sort of thing goes. Also, the previous seasons implied her father was a pretty bad person - I mean, I know some people exaggerate that sort of thing, but still.
And I skipped the virtual reality stuff. It wasn't interesting to me.

Anyone else? Anyone like it? That's fine too, maybe your optimism will rub off on me.

When the show first started Britta was one of my least favorite characters, but the way she's been treated over the course of the show is a travesty.

Yeah, I was rewatching some S1 episodes last night, and she's always been the sort of person who claims to be the reasonable one but is actually just as screwed up as everyone else - I know people like that, so I find that pretty believable. But she's gone from at least trying to being... I don't even know what. I've actually decided I think she has an identical twin who took over for her for... reasons, and has an OTT version of the same personality. The real Britta thinks her friends know she went... somewhere else, and doesn't realize her messed up twin's been OTTing in her place.

... actually, now I want a fic of that.
