Remus's "big part" in book seven...

Seems to be a rumor. Is it?

Because I know I've heard it, yet have not seen it in any of the transcripts, and the Lexicon doesn't mention it in their "about book seven" list.

I've searched for this interview quote before, and I've come to the conclusion that it has all the hallmarks of an urban legend. Everybody is sure they've heard it somewhere, but nobody can trace a source. I think it's probably a conflation of two separate facts JKR gave us in older interviews: 1) we'd see Lupin again in Book Five but not in Book Four, and 2) we'd find out something about Lily in Book Five, and something tremendously important about her in Book Seven.

I suppose there's a slight possibility that she said it before the books took off like wildfire and people started recording and memorizing her every word, but it would have to have been after the release of PoA, which leaves a very narrow window of time.

Yeah, it's probably along the same lines of "Harry gets expelled in book six" (well, he NEARLY did in book five), "Dumbledore dies in book four/five/six")... etc.

By the way, a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend whose uncle works at Bloomsbury told me Snape gets married to Sinistra!

;)

That's funny, I said I shipped Snape/Sinistra on a forum just as a joke, but people took me ever so seriously... Is there actually a fandom for this ship? lol

Actually, yeah, it's quite popular. ^^

This is Harry Potter. There are shippers for everything.

*lol*
So true.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Crookshanks/Whomping Willow fic out there ;)

*giggles*

You do realise the fact that you have said this ensures that such a fic will spring into existence somewhere.

*stifles giggles to appear serious*

I am prepared to be held fully responsible.

Add Trevor the Toad and you might have created someone's new OT3...
