I think Lyall's alone in a different way than Andromeda. Andromeda has a lot of emotional armor, for one, so that helps, and she also has Harry, who is basically family (not that I've had a chance to show it - perhaps next chapter). She also always has Teddy, and being a baby he's a constant 24 hour distraction. There's almost no room for Andromeda to really wallow. It's a little different for poor Lyall. :(
