I was so deep in the Whedon/Angel/Buffy comms at that time I just had flashbacks.

I have to admit I loved Wes' evolution. He was such a bad ass after awhile I'd start panting whenever he came on screen.

This is not to say I agreed with everything he did. Not even a little.

If you watch the whole series (I strongly recommend this...it's a damn good if very uneven series) Joss will break your heart into fifty thousand pieces.
