I can't afford to be very open at all; I live in one of the most conservative towns in one of the most conservative states. (There was much ranting and raving on the newspaper site about Garrison Keillor and A Prairie Home Companion being oh so liberal after they came here. *That* conservative.) It could literally wreck my career if some of the things I've read and been associated with became public knowledge here.
