decafest :D

So wieimmer and I have set up decafest . Prompts will be posted tomorrow, but I highly encourage all of you to join in the meantime.

decafest comes from the poll I did a while back, asking if anyone would want a "ten years later ficfest." wieimmer found the poll through daily_snitch, and offered to do the challenge with me. So, a few weeks later, here we are.

The premise of decafest is that it's ten years after the end of the war - which it is. (2008 now, the war ended in 1998 Canon Time.) About thirty prompts will be posted, and everyone can choose whichever one they want - there is no "claiming" or assigning, because what captures your muse is not up to us or anyone else.

Any characters can be written about, and any pairings. We do have some restrictions - we're not allowing incest, underage pairings, bestiality, or necrophilia.

We're still trying to figure out a few things, so do keep that in mind. If you have any questions or suggestions, please let us know!

As promised, I'm here to read if nothing else, but if one of the prompts sets the wheels in motion, who knows how deep into participation I may go! (My, am I ever a cock-eyed optimist.)

Exactly. :) And I think we picked quotes that should inspire a variety of themes - friendship, family, romance, relief, angst, anger, acceptance... so hopefully something will spark your interest. If not, readers are more than welcome as well.
