I don't see God as an being that causes miracles or vengeance like the Bible says. I don't question his existence just because there is misery in the world. However I do see that our connection to him may have started a million years ago when we were given the freedom to make choices instead of living by instinct. This trait has made us uniquie among living things, perhaps put God in each one of us.

How we have handled this gift can be questioned more so than whether or not there is a God.
