A while ago, linda_lupos and I were talking about the Dutch HBP.

Linda: (Blah blah blah)... and RAB is RAZ...

Me: Isn't "Sirius Black" "Sirius Zwarts" in the Dutch books?

Linda: Exactly!

So, yes. Possibly actual proof. I mean, why specifically Z as an initial if that's not the case?

I don't know, I've never read them in French.
It might just be a fanfiction thing.

I have them in French ... *runs to check* It says "Sirius Black".

Sirius Black was not translated to Sirius Noir in French, the name is the same.
